Valve product sampling 80% qualified

July 28, the State General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine in the "China Quality News Network" announced the results of national supervision and sampling of valve product quality, by sampling Jiangsu, Shanghai, Zhejiang and other nine provinces and municipalities directly under the Central Government 90 enterprises produced 90 batches of its valve products cast steel surface quality, stem diameter measurement, valve wall thickness measurement and other 8 projects were tested, 72 batches meet the requirements of the test standard , the detection rate of 80%; there are 18 batches of products do not meet the standard requirements, unqualified products detection rate of 20%. Jiangsu Province, which sampled 15 (including Nantong Power Station Valve Co., Ltd., Nantong High School Pressure Valve Co., Ltd., Wuxi Baoding Valve Co., Ltd., Yancheng City, Shengtai Valve Co., Ltd., etc.) valve manufacturers, the sampling of its valves are all qualified.

It is reported that in the second quarter of 2015, the State Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine sampling of Tianjin, Hebei, Shanghai, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Anhui, Fujian, Henan, Hubei and other nine provinces and municipalities directly under the Central Government 90 enterprises produced 90 batches of valve products. According to GB/T12234-200 "oil, gas industry, steel gate valve with stud connection bonnet", JB/T7746-2005 "Compact Steel Valves", GB/T8464-2008 "Iron and copper threaded valves", GB/T12232-2005 "flange connection iron gate valve", GB/T12233-2006 "Iron Globe valve and lift check valve" and other standards, the surface quality of cast steel valve products, stem diameter measurement, valve body wall thickness measurement, low-pressure sealing test, sealing test, high-pressure sealing test, shell test, valve body material composition analysis and other 8 projects were inspected.

After inspection, a total of 18 batches of products failed, including 7 batches of industrial valves, 11 batches of plumbing valves, involving a total of 6 items, including 1 low-pressure sealing test, stem diameter measurement of 8 times, the valve body wall thickness measurement of 10 times, the valve body material composition analysis of 2 times, high-pressure sealing test of 2 times, shell test of 1 time.

The sampling in the industrial valve production areas of Zhejiang, Jiangsu, Shanghai, respectively, 31 batches, 17 batches and 14 batches of products, the detection rate of unqualified products were 19.4%, 5.9% and 21.4%. In the water valves concentrated production areas in Tianjin and Anhui were sampled 4 batches and 6 batches of products, the detection rate of unqualified products are 50%.
